It is an affiliate of the Certified Financial Planner - Board of Standards located at Denver. The Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB) India was established through the contributions of prominent financial services companies. It is a professional association dedicated to developing and promoting an industry providing unbiased financial advice to the Indian public. FPSB India is also committed to maintaining high standards of technical competence, fair dealing and integrity among its members.

What sets the Financial Planning Standards Board apart from others is that it is an industry initiative where prominent financial services companies have come together to form the Association. The Charter Members of the FPSB India are some of the biggest and best providers of financial services in India.

Charter Members are the founding members of the FPSB India. From FPSB India's inception, these members have given their support for the development of the financial planning industry. They form the Executive Committee of the Financial Planning Standards Board India.
